The only other discernible difference I've come across is the location of the recoil spring is in the stock for the M2 vs over the mag tube on the Affinity which makes them balance differently, and apparently is also a pain to get to on the M2. Im sure the Franchi is alot more polished when it comes to fit/finish and craftsmanship, I read it is basically a Benelli M2. I cant seem to figure out why the Affinity is 6.5 pounds with a 28" barrel and the M3000 is 7.5 pounds with a 28" barrel.
